"My son and I have cycled the cross-country C2C route twice now, spending a night at the Old Post Office each time. The place is excellent value and offers everything you could want from a B&B.
The bedrooms are bright, spacious and nicely decorated. There are home-made biscuits, bath robes, coffee makers, even earplugs (not that you'll need them, Lanchester seems very quiet at night.) There is plenty of choice at breakfast, with local ingredients cooked well.
The owner, Keith, is a genial host and rightly proud of the place."
